  • Getting here

The event is held at The Battery Atlanta, off US Highway 41, Cobb Parkway.

Park in the Red, Green, Yellow or Purple decks. The Orange and Silver/Delta decks are not available for this event. The first two hours are free, and The Battery charges by the hour after that. There is limited metered street parking nearby, and payment is enforced. A limited number of EV chargers with contactless payment are available in each deck.

  • Check-in

Everyone checks in, including general admission. The Check-In Desk is on Battery Avenue, across from the Coca-Cola Roxy.

Have your ticket ready when you reach the desk. It keeps the line moving for you and for everyone behind you.

  • The 5K

The 5K starts and finishes on Battery Avenue, across from the 3rd base entrance to Truist Park, and the route winds through the neighborhood next to the ballpark. There are three water stations along the way.

The course is certified by USA Track & Field, which is what allows accurate times, official rankings, validity of performances, and qualification for larger runs with performance thresholds.

You receive your bib at check-in. After the race, bring your bib to the Memorabilia and Merchandise tent in the Plaza to collect your runner appreciation bag, which includes your requested T-shirt size. The bib is how staff know the bag is yours, so keep it on.

You cannot join the 5K once it has started, so arrive early enough to park, check in and reach the start.

  • The Walk

The walk is inside Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves. You enter through the 3rd Base Gate and exit through the Right Field Gate.

The walk goes in two waves, and you collect your credentials at the Check-In Desk first. We expect large crowds. If you miss your wave you may not be able to get into the ballpark, so give yourself time to park, check in and reach the 3rd Base Gate.

  • 100 Yard Kids Dash

The dash is on Battery Avenue, starting past the First Base Gate and before the 3rd Base Gate. Dashers collect their credentials at the Check-In Desk.

It runs in three co-ed age groups: 5 to 7, 8 to 10, and 11 to 13. It starts promptly, and children who arrive late may not be able to take part.

  • Mindful Yoga

A forty-five minute session in the Plaza, open to all levels. A certified teacher leads deep breathing, poses that stretch the places most people hold tension such as shoulders and back, and a moment of gratitude.

Yoga mats are encouraged. Please arrive early enough to park, check in and reach the Plaza.

  • Home Run Derby and the Children’s Park

The CHOA Children’s Park hosts a home run derby, a rock climbing tower, lawn games and batting cages for children 14 and under.

A parent or guardian must supervise every participant. Collect your credentials at the Check-In Desk.

  • Food

Battery Avenue is closed to vehicles for the event, and food trucks line it near the Coca-Cola Roxy. There is first come, first served seating along that stretch and by the second stage, on top of everything already open at The Battery Atlanta.

  • Entertainment

Two stages run through the day. Stage A is in the Plaza. Stage B is on Battery Avenue in the food truck dining area.

The full lineup and running order are announced closer to the event.

  • Immersive 360

Located between the Right Field Gate and Live! at The Battery. An immersive VR stream takes you around the world with live guides, open to all ages.

The Around the World tent hosts board games for every age and a passport activity for ages 6 to 11. Children who complete the passport receive a special gift while supplies last. Around the Panel hosts guided discussions on AKF themes, open to all ages.

  • Silent Auction

A blend of generosity, creativity and spirituality. Items include work by talented painters, unique Islamic art, artwork honoring Mawlana Shah Karim’s Golden Jubilee remembrance, and curated gift baskets with gift certificates and collectibles.

Donors give from the heart, and through bidding they take home something meaningful in return. All proceeds go to the cause.

  • Memorabilia and merchandise

The Memorabilia and Merchandise tent is in the Plaza, with a thoughtfully selected range of items. All proceeds go to the cause, so please stop by.

  • Seniors and accessibility

Senior drop-off is at the Red Deck only. There is signage, and event volunteers assist where they can.

A limited number of wheelchairs are available to check out, first come and first served, subject to availability. Guests are liable for wheelchairs that are lost, stolen or damaged.

The Seniors Circle is in the middle of the action rather than off to the side, close to the restrooms and the water and snack station.

  • Contributions

A Donations tent and a Planning and Legacy tent are both in the Plaza. If you would like to understand the work your support funds, they are the place to start.

  • Restrooms

Restrooms are at the entrances of all the parking decks. The closest are on Power Alley by the Red Deck entrance, and on Battery Avenue by the Orange Deck entrance.
